Finally I am proud to have completed SK Wedding Cake Diploma. It was 3 long tiring, stressfull but fun filled days I had completing my cake.

Mother’s Day Cakes

It was a long and tiring week, I had just completed my SK Wedding Cake Diploma on friday the 8th May 2009. After getting home at about 9.30pm I had to start my baking for Mother’s day cakes as I had orders for cakes.

Below are the 3 cakes that I did…..

This is Carrot and Ginger cake with cream cheese icing. I did this for my Mum and my aunty.

Orange and chocolate marble cake with chocolate butter cream, for a customer.

Coconut Cake with Coconut cream. This cake was dedicated to my husband’s aunty and cousins…

Jellycake – Swans

Wilton Course 1 Students Graduation

Last Satuday was an exciting day for all my Wilton Course 1 students. These ladies have been coming for their cake decorating class for the past 4 weeks with me. And they have learnt many new technics.

It was the day, they were required to deco a cake using all or most of the technics that they have learnt.

Look at all my students, so full of concentration when getting their graduation cakes decorated……

Congrats……… ladies, all of you have successfully graduated.

2 tier wedding cake

My very first 2 tier wedding cake. I did this as my graduation cake for my Wilton Course 3.

Both the tiers were fruit cakes. I had lots of fun in my course 3.

Officially a Wilton Method Instractor (WMI)

Well, finally I have become a Wilton Method Instractor. So glad to have achive this in my passion for baking and cake decorating. Now I officially teach in ICCA.

My first class for Wilton’s Course 1 started in April 2009. A class full of students excited to learn

This class will be graduating on the 2th of May 2009 for Course 1.

Cake Baking Class

After receiving a number of queries to conduct a baking class, I recently taught a number of students to bake an eggless sooji cake (vegetarian), chocolate cupcakes with chocolate ganache topping and orange sponge cake with butter icing. The class started around 10:00am and ended just about 2:00pm. Since it was a small class, I even baked pizza for lunch and gave out a free recipe for ABC Jelly.
